“Fans of 'The Masked Singer' will be treated to a unique edition of the global phenom, packed with remarkable vocals and unforgettable performances. As we scale our massive selection of Spanish-language content for Tubi en Español at no cost to our viewers, we continue to deliver on our broader commitment to super serve underserved audiences,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer at Tubi.
“¿Quién es la Máscara?” introduces 16 celebrities who have to sing in creative costumes. Led by assorted clues, the “investigators” seek to guess what celebrity is hiding behind each mask. Among the famous participants are singers, actors, TV hosts, and others playing the roles of characters. In every episode are duels between two or more contestants. The audience chooses the best performance each week and one celebrity will be at risk of elimination. The panel of “investigators” decide who will leave the show and take off the mask.
The show is based on the original format created by MunHwa Broadcasting Corp. (MBC) that has successfully aired in the United States, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China. “¿Quién Es la Máscara?” is produced by Televisa and Endemol Shine Boomdog, and distributed internationally by Banijay Rights.
