Tubi confirmed that its collection of digital-first creator content on the platform has grown to more than 5,000 episodes through new partnerships with creators including Jimmy Donaldson (aka MrBeast), Alan’s Universe, Jomboy Media, CelinaSpookyBoo, and Steven He, amongst others. Additionally, Tubi announced the appointment of creator economy leader Kudzi Chikumbu as the company’s new VP of Creator Partnerships to bring more original stories from talented creators to Tubi’s over 100 million monthly active users.

“We’re committed to building a bridge to Hollywood for creators to help them reach new audiences. Tubi is a platform for bold, breakthrough work, and these 5,000 episodes are just the beginning,” said Rich Bloom, General Manager, Creator Programs & Executive Vice President, Business Development at Tubi. “Kudzi is a leader with deep roots in the creator economy. His unique perspective and proven track record make him the ideal person to partner with me to lead our ambitious efforts in digital-first, creator-driven entertainment.”

“I’m thrilled to join Tubi at a time when creators are redefining entertainment,” said Kudzi Chikumbu, VP of Creator Partnerships at Tubi. “Tubi’s dedication to empowering creators with creative freedom and meaningful incremental audience reach is unmatched, and I’m excited to bring fresh, bold, and authentic storytelling to their passionate viewers.”

A seasoned executive, Chikumbu most recently served as Global Head of Creator Marketing at TikTok, where he was instrumental in developing the platform’s thriving global creator ecosystem. With experience spanning partnerships, education, product marketing, and experiential activations, Chikumbu has been recognized by industry-leading publications, including Fortune’s 40 Under 40, The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen, Variety’s Hollywood’s New Leaders, and AdWeek’s Experiential Executive of the Year.

In addition to bringing digital-first creator content to the platform, Tubi for Creators encompasses the previously launched fan-fueled studio, Stubios, and the recently announced partnership with Kickstarter. Tubi is invested in cultivating creativity, as demonstrated by past partnerships with The Blacklist, inviting writers to submit their screenplays to be developed, to be produced and distributed on Tubi. Tubi for Creators will continue to expand, and more details on the program, which will include opportunities for Tubi to fund production and for brands to get involved, will be shared later this year.

Boldly built for every fandom, Tubi is a free streaming service that entertains fans with the world’s most extensive collection of more than 300,000 movies and TV episodes, thousands of creator-led stories, and hundreds of Tubi Originals made for the most passionate fans. The creators joining the program reflect Tubi’s growing younger, multicultural audience, with content that uniquely connects with passionate fandoms across horror, sports, reality, food and comedy.
