VIACOMCBS LAUNCHES NEW BALA AND “RUGRATS” CONSUMER PRODUCTS

The Consumer Products department of ViacomCBS Networks Americas announced the launch of Bala's “Back to School” line and the Fila x Rugrats collection.

ViacomCBS Networks Americas Consumer Products announced the launch of Bala’s Back to School accessories line. Available on Amazon Mexico, kids will find backpacks, lunchboxes and pencil cases, featuring the hugely popular Nickelodeon Latin America star. Fans, dubbed “Balovers,” will have the chance to purchase items until July 20, as part of an exclusive pre-sale event on Amazon. 

“We are thrilled to launch Bala’s line through Amazon in Mexico,”  said Ángela Cortez, Vice President of ViacomCBS Networks Americas Consumer Products. “This is just the first of a series of products that will be available, and we are certain that Balovers in Mexico will enjoy this fun and colorful collection of back to school ítems,”  she continued.

Bala is currently the star of Nickelodeon Latin America’s IG Live show, “Nick en Casa”. The singer/songwriter and digital media sensation continues to grow her fan base reaching more than 7M followers on her YouTube channel and over 3M followers on Instagram. She also just recently launched her English-language YouTube channel, Hey Bala, for fans in the United States.

On the other hand, ViacomCBS Networks Americas and Fila announced the launch of the Fila x Rugrats collection. This features two shoes inspired by the signature characters from “Rugrats,” as well as t-shirts. 

“The ‘Rugrats’ are part of pop-culture and Fila has done an amazing job bringing back these iconic characters with fresh new designs,”  Cortez commented. “We are certain that ‘Rugrats’ fans will love this collection, and that new generations will find the footwear and t-shirts just as appealing,”  she added.
