NICKELODEON’S “AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER” AND “THE LEGEND OF KORRA” ON TWITCH

From October 26 to 29, Twitch fans will have the opportunity to co-stream the iconic Nickelodeon animations in Latin America.

ViacomCBS Networks Americas (VCNA) announced that it has inked a deal with Twitch allowing the co-streaming of Nickelodeon’s beloved animated series, "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "The Legend of Korra" on its social TV platform.

From October 26-29, Twitch will stream Nickelodeon’s "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "The Legend of Korra" in Latin America, allowing Twitch users to connect with their community and co-stream the episodes with other streamers, putting their own spin and commentary to the episodes and creating a unique experience for everyone.

As part of the agreement VCNA’s channels in the region, Nickelodeon and MTV Latin America, will promote the airings across their platforms to engage fans of the series and drive viewers to Twitch.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender", which originally aired on Nickelodeon from February 2005 to July 2008, follows the adventures of Aang, the show’s namesake Avatar, as he masters the elements of water, earth, fire, and air and helps stop the Fire Nation’s war against the world.

"The Legend of Korra" is set in the fictional world of Avatar: The Last Airbender, 70 years after the events of that series. The series is focuses on Avatar Korra, a seventeen-year-old girl from the Southern Water Tribe and the successor of Avatar Aang from The Last Airbender.
