Kids’ entertainment industry’s annual event Kidscreen Summit will be celebrated this year from February 12 to 15 at the InterContinental Miami hotel. In 2020, the last in-person Summit, the market welcomed more than 2.200 attendees from over 50 countries.

Kidscreen Summit brings together creators, producers, distributors and buyers of kids programming for meaningful pitching and business networking opportunities that make it easy to connect and do business. The event’s networking experiences are all designed to help attendees meet influential leaders in the kids' entertainment industry.

For example, Kidscreen Summit’s signature “Cocktails with…” and “Coffee with…” networking sessions give attendees the opportunity to chat over drinks and coffee with leading kids’ content teams from companies such as Amazon, Apple, Disney, Netflix, Nickelodeon, PBS, Sony, Super RTL, Warner Bros. Discvoery, and WildBrain. The idea is to help attendees make deeper connections with the channels, platforms and studios that invest in programming dedicated to children.

Meanwhile, "Brainpick" is a drop-in session that gives attendees an opportunity to get free advice and guidance from experienced experts in niche areas of the kids entertainment industry. The event also offers “Speed Pitching” sessions, designed to connect attendees with top broadcasters and investors who have the power to greenlight their projects in a highly effective format that features 10-minute meetings. Lastly, in the “Pitch Prep” fast consults, some of the industry’s most talented pitchers will take a look at the attendees’ materials and give them advice on how to deliver them with more punch.

At the same time, the conference program delivers high-level insight into the business of kids’ entertainment from the industry leaders who are driving trends and change. One of the highlights of the event will be the closing keynote from BBC Children’s Chief, Patricia Hidalgo, who will discuss what the future of the segment will look like, where she sees opportunities emerging, and what trends will shape the pubcaster’s programming endeavors.
