Global distributor Superights reinforces long-term partnerships with European animation producers such as Le Regard Sonore, Reaz and Croco Doc AIE with new seasons of worldwide success series. Following the success of the first season of "Koumi’s Animated Picture Book" (52x5’) produced by Le Regard Sonore, the edutainment series combining 2D animation and live action is coming back with a second season with 52 new episodes presenting 52 new animals. This new season has already been sold to TFOU Max (France), Beijing Time Flying Fish (China), Now TV (Hong Kong) and Ceska TV (Czech Republic).

In addition, Le Regard Sonore also produced a spinoff of Koumi’s main character in a new program called "Draw Animals with Koumi" (52x5’), where kids learn, in "Do It Yourself episodes”, how to draw the 52 animals presented in "Koumi’s Animated Picture Book" season 1. The spinoff is fully produced and ready to be broadcasted. A season 2 is already in production.

Production company Reaz, another long-term Superights’ partner also signed a third season of the hit series "Clay Time" (30x4’30), where each episode comes with a live tutorial teaching kids how to make an animal in modeling clay, allowing them to imagine their own stories. This season 3 presents 30 new animals in 30 new episodes and tutorials, totalling 90 episodes and tutorial over the 3 seasons. This brand-new season has already been purchased by TeleQuebec (Canada), RTS (Switzerland), Now TV (Hong Kong) and beIN (UAE).

Superights also started to sell the second season of "Croco Doc" (52x7’) including 26 new episodes. Producers Croco Doc AIE, Buenpaso Films, Nuts Ideas and RTVE worked on that new season bringing the same ingredients to the series with interesting facts and engaging stories. This season 2 is totally produced and includes episodes on pollen allergy, angina or nosebleeds. Season 1 has been previously acquired by many broadcasters around the world such as TFOU Max (France), TVP (Poland), RTS (Switzerland), RSI (Switzerland), TIM (Italy), Now TV (Hong Kong), LTV (Latvia), Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (Mauritius), Mediacorp (Singapore), Lingopie (USA, UK, Canada) and discussions are currently pending for season 2.

Superights will be at Kidscreen from February 4 to 7 at the Unifrance’s pavilion.
