Superights has recently announced new broadcasting partners for its coming-of-age live action series "Home Sweet Rome!."  “'Home Sweet Rome!' is a totally universal programme that perfectly meets the needs of a young teenage audience looking for entertainment, real-life themes and aspirational characters. We've already got some fantastic broadcast partners on board, and the conquest is only just beginning," Nathalie Pinguet Deputy Managing Director of Superights said.

Originally commissioned by Max in the U.S, Rai in Italy, Wildbrain in Canada, BBC in the UK, ARD/One Gate Media in Germany and supported by The Shaw Rocket Fund, the series has recently found new homes throughout the world. In Europe, Superights, a distribution entity of Superprod Group, has sealed deals with SVT in Sweden, NPO in the Netherlands, NRK in Norway, YLE in Finland and Euskal Telebista in Spain. In Oceania, the series has been picked-up by TVNZ in New Zealand and ABC in Australia.

Produced by Red Monk Studio and First Generation Films, a season 2 is currently in development with more music, more friendship and even more adventures! Leading commissioners already renewed for the new season. The series follows Lucy’s new life in Rome with her dad and new stepmom Francesca, an Italian popstar. The teenager will learn to adapt, while going through the growing pains of being a 13 year-old girl, with the additional challenge of her best friend, Kyla, being 6000 miles away.
