Mipcom 2022: LGI Media to exhibit new documentaries

Australian distributor LGI Media will attend MIPCOM 2022 with an extensive slate of new documentaries including "Fall of the Maya King", "Scotland Ocean Nation", "Mama Irene", "Kitchen Lab", "Dream Listings: Byron Bay," and "Moments in Time."

Produced by Zoot Pictures (USA) in association with Nova, ARTE, ICI Explora, Blue Ant Media, and SBS, "Fall of the Maya King" (1x60’) is a dramatic and chilling story of the collapse of the Maya civilization.

Produced by UK Reel Soul Movies, "Scotland Ocean Nation" (3x60’) is a visually stunning and captivating series following world record stand-up paddleboarder and veterinarian Cal Major on an epic 800-mile ocean adventure around Scotland’s wild, dramatic, and unforgiving coastline.



"Mama Irene" (1x60’) produced by Blaze A Path Productions is the story of Mama Irene, Healer of the Andes a remarkable 84-year-old Shaman from Peru who draws upon indigenous knowledge and traditions in danger of being lost forever.

"Kitchen Lab" (12x60’), produced by Neurona Group for Chile 13 and hosted by science journalist Andrea Obaid and cell biologist Alejandro Roth which will search the origin of food and the stories of traditional recipes.

LGI Media will also be showcasing the lifestyle documentary "Dream Listings: Byron Bay" (8x60’) produced by EQ Media for Nine Network. In this eight-part observational documentary series, audiences follow a group of the region’s premiere property agents selling the Australian dream.

And finally, "Moments in Time" (6x60’) produced by Locardi Media. From cave paintings to modern-day photography, humans have captured the history from Moments in Time.
