Telemundo Global Studios presented its production slate for this year

Under the motto “The Telemundo Edge,” Telemundo Global Studios presented its slate of originals set to go into production and development this year at an event held as part of Content Americas. Hosted by Karen Barroeta, Executive Vice President of Production and Development at Telemundo Global Studios, “The Telemundo Edge” highlighted the Studios’ focus on producing modern, premium content for mainstream audiences.

“As witnessed by the overwhelming success of last week’s premiere of season 8 of ‘El Señor de los Cielos,’ Telemundo Global Studios continues to deliver the highest rated Super Series and multi-seasonal franchises anywhere,”  Barroeta commented during the presentation.

“For 2023, we will focus on delivering high quality romantic dramas, thrillers and action through our content, with the most realistic, relatable and edgy characters, all brought to life by a stellar cast and crew, both in front of and behind the cameras. This is just a glimpse of our commitment to excellence, with the eagerness to dare to go for more and bet on great ideas. This is The Telemundo Edge,”  Barroeta added.

Among the new series entering production and development this year are projects such as the romantic drama "Hasta Encontrarte" (working title), the soap opera "Sin Senos Si Hay Paraíso," the dramatic thriller "Mujer de Oro," and the suspense drama “Blue Cage.” In addition to these titles, Barroeta pointed out several of the original series scheduled to launch this year on Telemundo, including: “El Señor de los Cielos,” “Juego de Mentiras,” and “El Conde: Amor y Honor.”
