TF1 Studios unveils new content slate at Marché du Film 2022

The Cannes Film Festival will be the perfect occasion to launch two new cinema releases"Alibi.com 2" and "The John Galliano Project" as well as two new titles "The Tiger's Nest" and "Country Cabaret".

The Newen Studios film label will be present in Cannes from May 17 to 25 during the Marché du Film to introduce its 2022 catalog. International buyers will be able to meet the TF1 Studio - Newen Connect teams (distribution subsidiary of the Newen Studios group) on their stand in the Gray D'Albion Residence at 4 rue des Serbes - Entrance H - 1st floor.

The event will be the opportunity to launch two new cinema releases on the market: The film "Alibi.com 2" by Philippe Lacheau and the exclusive documentary film "The John Galliano Project" by Kevin MacDonald (temporary title). With the comedy "Alibi.com 2", Philippe Lacheau gives a sequel to his successful feature film released in 2017. The film had then achieved more than 3.5 million box office entries and had been released in nearly 100 territories worldwide. Currently shooting, the film produced by Axel Films Production and BAF Prod is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2023.

Recently announced, Kevin MacDonald's original documentary film "The John Galliano Project" (provisional title) will tell the story of the man beyond the creative genius of the Dior star designer. Currently shooting, the project is produced by TF1 Studio and KGB Films, with support from Condé Nast. A release in theaters is scheduled for 2023.

The Marché du Film 2022 will also be the occasion to present two new titles: "The Tiger's Nest" by Brando Quilici and "Country Cabaret" by Jean-Pierre Améris. Brando Quilici's Italian feature film "The Tiger Nest", an exciting story of love and friendship between a young orphan and a tiger cub, is produced by HD Productions and Medusa Film.

Jean-Pierre Améris' French comedy "Country Cabaret" adapts the fabulous true story of a farmer who, in order to save his business, undertakes to open the first farm cabaret. A production of Escazal Films. At last, new images from Christian Duguay's highly anticipated new film "Ride Above" will be disclosed. The film is produced by TF1 Studio, Nolita Films and PATHE. It will be released in France on December 21.
