Following Rendez-Vous Bi@rritz in September, TV France International is continuing its action by organization members’ participation in the main markets coming up at the end of this year or by providing them with original initiatives. In November, the destination is Latin America with a screening in Sao Paulo entirely given over to French programs, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Brazil, which will be followed by MIPCancun Online.

“TV France International’s role is to give French programs as much regular exposure as possible to international buyers”, said Sarah Hemar, Executive Director of TV France. “The continuing health crisis has encouraged us to remain creative and innovative in continuing to support, even in a virtual version, our members wherever they can interact with their usual contacts and help them engage with new ones”.

MIPCANCÚN

24 French distributors will be taking part this week in the entirely online 8th edition of MIPCancun thanks to the support of TV France International. This is the biggest French delegation since the creation of this event.  This is an opportunity for them to have one-on-one pre-arranged meetings online, in real-time, with almost 150 South American buyers via the platform.

"Latin America is a vast territory, in terms of exporting our content, where there are big differences depending on the country, and which remains to be conquered, even though some of our members have already encountered success there (such as Newen with 'Candice Renoir´', Dandelooo with 'Taïna' and the 'Amazon Guardians', Millimages with notably 'Molang and Mouk'. MIP Cancun, ATF, Content London…, French audiovisual creation will be very much present as the year comes to an end”, Sarah Hemar continued.
