Unifrance to highlight French documentaries at IDFA 2022

Forty-six French productions and nine Work in Progress projects will represent France this year.

Unifrance will be present at the 35th edition of IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam) to support the numerous French productions and co-productions. The event will take place from November 9 through 20 in Amsterdam.

Forty-six French productions and nine Work in Progress projects will represent France this year. French professionals are thus able to benefit from specific support composed of travel grants, the AIP system, and a press relay setup.

In addition, Unifrance is planning a networking event with a cocktail reception organized in partnership with the SCAM, Région Grand-Est, and the Institut Français in the Netherlands on Sunday, November 13.

A Unifrance delegation will be present from November 12 through 16 and some of the films present will be "Polaris" by Ainara Vera; "Le Fleuve n'est pas une frontière" by Alassane Diago; "We, Students !" by Rafiki Fariala; "Pornomelancolia" by Manuel Abramovitch and "How to Save a Dead Friend" by Marusya Syroechkovskaya, among others.
