With TV channels running out of new shows and international travel bans still largely in place, MIP China 2020 moves online to offer the TV content community a tested market framework to meet and conduct business from office or home.
Started in 2017 by the organisers of world’s global TV markets MIPTV and Mipcom, MIP China is based on MIP’s proprietary 1-to-1 scheduling platform that matches distributors with buyers by mutual preferences and genres.
Whether attendees wish to discover, buy, sell, finance or produce content, the MIP China Partnership Forum puts them in contact with the people and content to help restart and grow their business. In fact, the Partnership Forum offers curated production partnership meetings to create projects with 20 Asian partners, and presents the opportunity to license content across all genres to 20 selected channels, platforms, and agent buyers from China as well 20 buyers from the surrounding countries.
The three previous editions of this Reed Midem’s event have been held in the Eastern city of Hangzhou. This fourth will be held online over four days, from July 28 to 31.
