G MEDIA PLUS IS THE NEW BUSINESS PARTNER OF GLOBO AMERICAS

Globo announced changes in its relationship with the international market in the United States, Canada and Latin America based on an agreement reached with G Media Plus, its new commercial partner, ending the long-standing partnership between Globo Internacional and Superstation Media, by advertisers Yara and Joaquim Cavaignac.

The Brazilian company has been developing since last year a deep work of approach with Brazilian society in the United States, a territory with the largest number of Brazilians living in the American continent, through a fruitful exchange of experiences, knowledge and understanding of concerns in the dimensions of entrepreneurship, expansion of language, culture and art.

Through this agreement, it allows the company to implement the recently adopted integrated marketing model in Brazil in the Americas. In this strategy, Globo is positioned as a commercial solutions company for linear, digital and streaming TV. The new international business model will be implemented by Diogo Boni, who will seek to build innovative advertising solutions with advertisers and agencies in the United States, Canada and Latin America. The model will initially have dedicated services in strategic regions such as Florida, Massachusetts, and California.

The objective of this movement is to work in an increasingly consultative and customizable way, seeking new business opportunities and innovation in commercial formats. With the expansion of Brazilians within several US and Canadian states, in addition to the Orlando-Boston polarization, Globo seeks to build solutions closer to the needs of all its partners.

“We have deepened our relationship with the audience that helps us beyond our borders, and now we want to advance our knowledge of the advertising market, creating solutions that meet our current needs. and potential partners and put all the knowledge and intelligence about our consumer at the service of a high-value business relationship," said Raphael Corrêa Netto, Globo's Director of International Business. "We offer an increasingly customizable model, integrating all the assets of Globo both linear and digital: Globo.com, G1, GShow and Globoesporte.com, in addition to Globoplay, which since January has generated even greater potential to reach for brands," he explained.

Diogo Boni, Director of G Media Plus, Globo's business partner in the Americas, highlighted the knowledge of the markets and the strength of Globo's assets: “The role of Media Plus is to operationalize this new relationship model between the assets of Glogo and the market in the Americas. We will put into practice the knowledge acquired during years of proximity to the territory to improve the movement of the exchange company with Brazilians. More than 20 years ago, Globo began a direct connection with Brazilians living abroad, through its international channel. From this relationship, a unique knowledge of this public has been created, which, in the last two years, has been reinforced by a communication that corroborates this approach, generating a fundamental exchange with those who observe Globo outside of Brazil. This is how the 'Together with Você' movement was born, a medium designed to listen to and understand the interests and desires of the public through a series of meetings that seek to amplify the voice of Brazilians who had the courage to leave their comfort zone and cross the border into an unknown world.

As part of this movement, Globo sponsors listening and empathy events, as in the last year, when it activated its co-creation laboratory - GloboLab.
