A new agreement between BBC Studios and Samsung would put 383 more hours of BBC content on Samsung TV Plus across EMEA. Alread BBC Studios y available in Spain, Italy and France, BBC Drama will debut on Samsung TV Plus in MENA featuring 1950s drama, "Call The Midwife", light-crime drama set in the Caribbean, "Death in Paradise" and family drama, "The Durrells".
Also available as a FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus is popular British motoring series, "Top Gear", which will be available in MENA, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. This launch follows the successful launch on Samsung TV Plus in Benelux and across the same markets on Pluto TV.
Kasia Jablonska, Director of Digital and On-Demand for EMEA at BBC Studios, praised the catalogue: “Our extensive catalogue of award-winning, high-quality content, offers an incredible base for building BBC Studios FAST and Digital Products portfolio. With FAST channel launches across 42 EMEA countries in just 5 years, I’m excited for BBC Studios’ future in this space," commented.
