Last night’s launch of the new reality competition "Daredevils", distributed by Be-Entertainment on VTM2 achieved an impressive market share of 17.4% in the 18-44 demographic, which marks a whopping increase of more than +149% in comparison to the prime slot average of 7% (18-44, Live + VOSDAL YTD).

Says Gepke Nederlof MD of Be-Entertainment: “'Daredevils' offers the watercooler moments that broadcasters are looking for. The fact that the daredevils have to guess how well they will do to score points adds an unique strategic element to the competition. We dare other countries to see how brave their viewers are!”

In this new format, eight male and female contestants fight to become the nation’s biggest Daredevil and win a €10,000 cash prize. They’re all self-proclaimed adrenaline junkies who claim they’re up for absolutely anything! For two weeks, they live, eat and sleep together and find out who is the most fearless.

In each episode, the contestants face one mind-blowing mental challenge and one extreme physical test. For each test, they have to correctly estimate the number of tasks they will complete in order to secure the related points. The two contestants with the least points have to undergo an all-decisive endurance challenge. The winner of this challenge stays in the house and remains in the competition to attempt to become the biggest Daredevil of them all.

"Daredevils" was created and produced by PIT who are internationally known for the successful "Make Your Country Great Again".
