The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and Dubai Studios, a Dubai Media Company, have today announced the signing of a long-term "Gala" partnership at Mipcom in Cannes. H.E. Mohamed Al Mulla, Group CEO of Dubai Media, and Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy, signed the partnership which marks a significant milestone in fostering television excellence from the UAE and promoting cross-cultural collaborations within the global entertainment industry.
Beginning in 2025, Dubai Studios will join in sponsoring the International Emmy World Television Festival and the International Emmy Awards Gala in New York. Additionally, each year Dubai Studios will host a Semi-Final Round of Judging event for the International Emmy Awards competition, in Dubai.
Furthermore, Dubai Studios will host "Academy Day in Dubai" for International Academy Members at a date to be announced. Academy Day is a high-level, by-invitation-only 4-day networking event designed to shine a spotlight on the culture and media industry of the region and foster a better understanding of regional business models and cultural institutions to help facilitate cross-border collaboration.
