Gruppo Alcuni closes a new deal with Dutch TV group RTL for "Vlady & Mirò"

Italy’s Gruppo Alcuni has inked a deal with leading Dutch TV group RTL Nederland for the new family entertainment series "Vlady & Mirò", a captivating tribute to everyone’s cherished childhood slapstick cartoons, co-produced by Gruppo Alcuni and Rai Ragazzi.

The series has 26, 5-minute episodes revolving around Vlady the Raccoon’s wacky, disastrous and side-splitting antics to get his roomie, Mirò the Bear, to stop his incessant snoring during their winter hibernation.

Producer Francesco Manfio comments: “Gruppo Alcuni is very pleased with the results at Kidscreen Miami. Our new 'Leo da Vinci 2' and 'Mini Pet Pals & Mini Dinos' (both in the final stage of post-production) were sought after and well-received by buyers. And a lot of interest was aroused by our super new 'Gateway 66', which combines animation with live action. Our partners on this new production are RAI Kids, the Trentino Film Commission, the MUSE Science Museum and the Renzo Piano Foundation.”
