Jetpack appoints Rebecca Lugo as new Head of global sales

Reporting to Jetpack Distribution CEO Dominic Gardiner, the executive will be tasked with driving the sale of all content within Jetpack’s catalog, working in collaboration with broadcasters and VOD platforms to find homes for the company’s diverse range of kids and family series across all genres and formats.

Jetpack Distribution has appointed Wildbrain alumni Rebecca Lugo as the company’s new Head of Global Sales. "We’re a business focused on offering high quality shows, but also delivering friendly and personal service, building networks and relationships around the world," CEO Dominic Gardiner said. "Rebecca fits jetpack’s culture perfectly and shares our ambitions. she’s a great addition to our team."

Under her new role, Lugo will responsible for driving the sale of all content within Jetpack’s catalog, working in collaboration with broadcasters and VOD platforms to find homes for the company’s diverse range of kids and family series across all genres and formats. Lugo's regions of focus will be the USA, Canada, Latin America, France, Spain and Portugal. Based in Toronto, the executive is set to report directly to Jetpack Distribution Gardiner said.

Lugo joins Jetpack from a nearly-nine-year stint at Wildbrain, where she worked in the international distribution team, overseeing sales strategy, and managing global and territory-specific relationships based in the USA, Latin America, Benelux, Italy and Spain.

The executive is credited iwth house various popular properties, including "Strawberry Shortcake," "Teletubbies" and "Bob the Builder." During her time at Wildbrain she also held roles in client services and digital media.
