KO Distribution in collaboration with Barbara Vallant from aroma TV have closed an initial round of deals for its comedy series "Pillow Talk", originally commissioned by Bell Media for Noovo and "Perfect "Storm", originally commissioned by tou.tv/ICI Radio-Canada.

Sold from its newly established format catalogue, option rights have been signed for "Pillow Talk" for Germany (Warner Bros. ITVP Deutschland GmbH), Norway (The Oslo Company) and Greece (BarkingWell Media). The series features more than 230+ sketches for two seasons (20 episodes). The original French language series maintains more than 500 sketches for three seasons (44 episodes).

“KOTV is thrilled to have returned from MIPCOM with so much interest for these popular titles of ours,” said Mia Desroches, Vice President Global Distribution at KO Distribution. “These are just our initial sales from the market and look forward to announcing additional partners soon.”

An adaptation of Noovo’s popular French-language series, "Entre deux draps", based on an original idea by Matthieu Pepper, "Pillow Talk" is a comedy series that follows the hilarity and drama experienced by four diverse couples and a pair of roommates, all in the intimacy of their bedrooms.

Produced by KOTV, "Perfect Storm" has been picked-up in France (CALT Production) and Poland (Polot Media). The comedy series (S1: 13X30’, S2:13X30’, S3:13X30’ - in production) takes a humorous look at the mental strain experienced by Isabelle, a 39-year-old single mother, in a typical day. In spite of all her planning and good intentions, her life can sometimes feel like it is spinning out of control.

Additional sales secured at Mipcom include TV5MONDE taking the doc series "Loto-Méno" (3 episodes of 60' about menopause) and Season 2 of the scripted series "La Maison-Bleue" (comedy series, 10 x 30').
