"America's Wild Border: Northern Exposure"
Love Nature announces its debut in the Nordics as a linear platform, launching on Pay TV operator T-We by Telenor Norway. This two-year carriage deal will introduce Love Nature’s award-winning 4K and HDR programming to the carrier’s 600,000 English-speaking subscribers.
“Telenor Norway is one of the most formidable Pay-TV platforms in the Nordic region and the launch of Love Nature on this platform marks a significant milestone for the brand as we expand its footprint across Northern Europe,” said Jade Anderson-Busby, Sales Manager, EMEA, Global Networks, Blue Ant Media.
“Our customers are eager to explore content on nature and wildlife. We are happy to offer a channel with premium image quality in our catalogue of content in T-We, Norway’s most popular service for TV and streaming,” said Camilla Amundsen Head of Fixed and TV, Telenor Norway.
Available in over 200 million households worldwide, via its branded linear and online platforms, Love Nature brings audiences powerful stories about the natural world that foster a deeper understanding of and connection to the planet we call home. With its award-winning library of 4K and HDR series and documentaries, Love Nature’s programming aims to forge emotional connections between audiences and the natural world, while also educating viewers with content that expands their knowledge about nature and animals.
Programming highlights include "America's Wild Border: Northern Exposure" (1x60’), premiering in November, which looks at wildlife along the world’s longest border between Canada and the USA, where animals walk a tightrope of barriers and conflicting regulations and "The Great Elephant Tale" (1x60’), debuting in December, that follows the stories of three different elephants, a calf, a bull, and a matriarch, as they navigate life in the wild.
Additional programming highlights include "Malawi Wildlife Rescue" (6 x 60’), which provides a look inside the country’s only wildlife rescue centre that cares for injured and abandoned animals until they are ready to be released back into the wild and "Secrets of Wild Australia" (7 x 60), which features Australia’s unique animals; from pouch breeding marsupials, and big birds, to bats and terrifying reptiles.
