Turkish distributor company Madd Entertainment announced a sale of seven Turkish series to three of Ecuador’s top broadcasters, although it did not reveal exactly who those broadcasters are. The titles are “Love Is In The Air,” “My Little Girl,” “Love, Reason, Get Even,” “Stiletto Vendetta,” “Abandoned,” “All About Marriage,” and “Nehir.”
These new Latin American deals build on Madd Entertainment’s impressive track record in Ecuador, which includes shows such as “A Woman Scorned,” “Flames Of Fate,” “One Liter Of Tears,” “A Miracle,” “Crash,” and “Love Makes You Cry.”
“Love Is In The Air” is a romance from MF Yapim, starring Hande Erçel and Kerem Bursin as a mismatched couple in a series featuring equal parts drama and comedy. “My Little Girl” is produced by Medyapim and revolves around a precocious orphan, played by child star Beren Gökyıldız, who is reunited with her long-lost father.
“Love, Reason, Get Even” is a romantic drama from Medyapim and No 9, and it is based on the hit Korean comedy “Cunning Single Lady.” Furthermore, “Stilletto Vendetta” is a classic drama series from Ay Yapim about four women whose paths cross again twenty years after a vicious incident.
“Abandoned” is MF Yapim’s fifth adaptation of a Nippon TV series, a collaboration that includes the international hits “Mother” and “Woman”, and it is about a house full of orphans struggling to make their way in the world. “All About Marriage” is an ongoing series from MF Yapim that airs on Turkey’s Fox network about a clan of high-powered divorce lawyers whose clients include billionaires, celebrities, and sometimes even themselves.
Lastly, “Nehir” is from Medyapim and No 9, and it is based on the classic film “Baraj,” starring Türkân Şoray. The drama explores a love triangle between the title character, a disfigured older man she fell in love with online, and the handsome young hunk she thinks is her internet beau.
