MISTCO SELLS FOUR TURKISH DRAMAS TO OBN IN BOSNIA

The Turkish distributor concluded a deal with Bosnian leading TV Channel for four of its main titles, including "Melek A Mother's Struggle", "My Champion", The Circle," and "Beloved".

Mistco concluded a deal with Bosnian leading TV Channel, OBN, for four of its main titles, including "Melek A Mother's Struggle", "My Champion", The Circle," and "Beloved". Aysegul Tuzun, Managing Director at MISTCO, said: "At Mistco we represent huge catalog, and we are happy to see our titles on OBN screen. Even though we were all concerned about the pandemic, what we saw is that Turkish drama is still king of the markets all around the world and we are about to announce new deals for these four titles and as well as other shows".

Davorin Simunic, OBN's Head of Business Development added: "Turkish drama series are very popular in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We believe that we will shine on the screen with successful content from Mistco’s catalog. We look forward to extend our partnership with new titles in 2021”.

Produced by US Yapım, "Melek" is a story of a strong woman. The show will have its second season on TRT, as a strong player for Wednesday nights in turkey. "My Champion", starring Tolga Sayısman, is a powerful show about a father and his son and grabbed the attention of both male and female audiences. Finally, "Beloved" starring with Kadir Dogulu and Devrim Ozkan, is the story of true love reuniting old enemies and reopening old wounds.
