MONDO TV'S "METEOHEROES" COMING TO ITALY IN APRIL

Mondo TV announced the pre-premiere of its animated series "MeteoHeroes" on Italian channel Cartoonito on April 22, the same day that the 50th anniversary of Earth Day will be celebrated.

The series, in which six special children use their superpowers to protect the planet from extreme weather events and pollution, will be presented in a special premiere of four episodes in April on the free TV channel Cartoonito, owned by the Boing company. SpA and visible on DTT channel 46, leader among the thematic channels for preschool children.

The release date was carefully chosen to coincide with the important anniversary of Earth Day and the broadcast will be accompanied by a major media campaign during which the six stars of "MeteoHeroes" will play the role of ambassadors in the fight against climate change. .

The complete season, which consists of 52 episodes x 7', will officially launch in July, opening doors to the creation and consolidation of the brand's values ​​through dense programming and a strategic communication campaign that bets on the proposal of unique value of the project.

"MeteoHeroes", a Mondo TV co-production with the Meteo Expert Center, addresses issues such as climate change, ecology, and respect for nature through the adventures of six extraordinary children. At the center of the story is a very current and child-friendly message, treated in a fun and engaging way, in an action-comedy-packed series that helps the young audience understand the issues and how they can help the planet.

LICENSEES JOIN THE PROJECT

The huge potential of "MeteoHero" has already attracted numerous licensees. Values ​​of sustainability and respect for the environment are reflected in the carefully designed licensing program.

Giunti was the first among the partners who immediately believed in the project with the idea of ​​launching a wide selection of narrative books and activities for children, while Playpress is planning a magic coloring book with a magic marker for the stationery channel. Mondadori also joins with its monthly magazine enriched with fantastic gadgets inspired by the television series. Eu-Promotion will manage the loyalty and promotion category. Ravensburger will do his part with puzzles and memory games. Among other categories, the home video will be managed by Koch Media and Kimbe will organize events in shopping malls as a licensee of the characters' costumes for the meet & greet activities.

On the other hand, the marketing strategy is completely developed around the mission of the brand: raising awareness with fun. Significant and not always conventional campaigns will support the brand, such as joining the Globo WePlanet initiative, organized by the Mondadori group and Mediamond with the support of local authorities, including the Milan City Council. It is an interactive and outdoor contemporary art and design exhibition focused on sustainable development, with the aim of sensitizing people and companies around the world in terms of ecological sustainability.

The six MeteoHeroes will be the protagonists of one of the hundred large balloons made and reproduced with recycled material and that will be installed in the center of Milan from June to September. The interaction is due to the use of augmented reality that will allow each work and the entire project to be counted as a whole, allowing the public to get to know the artist and his vision of sustainability.

On the digital front, the initiatives will also be multiple and well integrated across web platforms to offer the digital native audience a wide range of entertainment activities including video games, editorial content, recreational and educational activities.
