Moonbug Entertainment, global entertainment company behind "CoComelon" and "Blippi", sealed a new multi-year partnership with Sanrio, the iconic lifestyle brand known for "Hello Kitty" to span co-branded content alongside broader consumer initiatives.
This includes a new crossover series featuring Sanrio and CoComelon characters — with "Hello Kitty", "Cinnamoroll", and other popular Sanrio characters joining JJ and his pals. The series will debut in 2026 and Moonbug will lead global distribution of the series.
The partnership was previewed during a fireside chat by Kevin Mayer, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Candle Media, at the APOS Summit in Bali. Candle Media is the parent company of Moonbug Entertainment.
