Alessandro Ravani, Rai Com commercial director: “This year in Naples, our attendees were guaranteed a full schedule in which they watched and heard everything they needed to know in order to facilitate their decision for their programming for the year ahead. The Rai Com Screenings have become a real focus for international buyers and cemented its position as a key, in-person destination for the global content community ensuring buyers to have the opportunity to select the very best from Italy and Italian content, and meet with our team. Among the Rai Com staff the full satisfaction is palpable! The extremely positive commercial results of our distribution activities are the outcome of a commitment for a greater synergy with Rai built up over the past three years. The crime genre maintains its popularity and consolidates the results obtained by other famous Italian series, first among them -of course- 'Commissioner Montalbano' that keeps high ratings in Italy and in the rest of the world. Rai Com has been at the forefront of this trend from the 1980’s with 'La Piovra.' 'The inquiries of Commissioner Ricciardi', 'Lolita’s Investigations', 'Hearts and The Good Apprentice' are among the various titles licensed by UK, USA and Australian networks aggregator GSN."

"MHZ Networks, behind the successful distribution of 'Montalbano' in the USA, is now picking up the three Rai TV movies 'Once Upon a Time in Vigata' from Andrea Camilleri’s novels, and Vincenzo Malinconico The Italian Lawyer, 'the Bastards of Pizzofalcone' 4th season, and Imma Tattaranni’s 3rd season licensed also in Finland for the 2sd season and on French Canal+ for the 3rd with option on the 4th season. RTVE confirmed a new license for 220 episodes of 'Ladies Paradise' and 'Dailies'," he commented.

"Buyers are waiting for 'My Brilliant Friends' 4th season currently filming in Naples and distributed by Rai Com in second window for the CIS+CEE territories, in collaboration with Fremantle. Previous seasons of series by Saverio Costanzo inspired by Elena Ferrante's best sellers, have already reached millions of TV viewers around the world with the particularity that, for the first time in the USA, English dubbing of the episodes was not required as the original version was unique and quite improbable to translate. Great writing combined with great filming technique allows us to offer a product with only few competitors, which makes us very proud!,” he completed.
