Rai Kids and Stand by me's teen series, "Jams" will soon makes its debut in Spain where it will be broadcast by TVE on Clan, a children’s channel. The news follows the show's success in Italy, South and Central America Rome.
Created by Simona Ercolani, "Jams," produced during the Covid-19 pandemic, aired in Italy on Rai Gulp with four seasons and a special edition set. Subsequently, it was distributed throughout South and Central America by HBO Latinoamérica, in collaboration of RaiCom.
The series covers the theme of child abuse, helping young audiences decipher ambiguous behavior by adults, learning how not to be manipulated, to recognize risks and, above all, to ask for help by overcoming fear and shame. The series also deals with other sensitive topics, such as bullying, cyberbullying, and gambling.
Since its release, "Jams" has received great critical and public acclaim, winning prestigious awards in Italy and on a global scale, including the Pulcinella Award at Cartoons on the Bay, the Content Innovation Award at Cannes and the Moige Award (Movimento Italiano Genitori) for its ability to tackle everyday problems and challenges faced by children and teens using their own language and narrative plots typical of Kids & Teen series.
