Independent Spanish animation company Ánima Kitchent announced a key milestone in its ongoing partnership with RTVE’s children’s network, Clan. The official Clan YouTube channel has exceeded one million subscribers under Ánima Kitchent’s digital leadership, earning the prestigious YouTube Gold Creator Award. The achievement reflects both the success of Clan’s digital transformation strategy and Ánima Kitchent’s expertise in managing multiplatform children’s content.

RTVE has tasked Ánima Kitchent with leading the digital growth and strategy for Clan’s YouTube presence. A data-driven approach has been at the core of the success, with Ánima Kitchent’s in-house team—comprising content analysts and mathematicians—using advanced analytics and audience insights to optimize content performance and increase engagement. This precision-led strategy enabled the brand to surpass the one-million-subscriber mark and solidify its appeal among young audiences.

Yago Fandiño, Director of Children's Content at RTVE, stated: “RTVE's goal is to offer quality content to Spanish families wherever they are. The success achieved on YouTube last year encourages us to continue investing in quality content with the best partners.”

Miguel Aldasoro, International Sales and Co-production Director at Ánima Kitchent, added: “We’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone alongside Clan RTVE. Reaching one million subscribers is the result of a fantastic partnership and years of close collaboration. It’s been a pleasure growing this channel together and seeing how it connects with young audiences, creating a space where kids and families can enjoy enriching content.”

Ánima Kitchent, founded in 2014 with headquarters in the Canary Islands and Madrid, specializes in 2D and 3D animation and boasts over two decades of industry experience. The company creates, distributes, and markets entertainment brands across platforms including Warner Bros. Discovery Max, YouTube, Netflix, and others. In 2024 alone, Ánima Kitchent’s YouTube presence recorded over 9.4 billion views and reached more than 71 million subscribers. Its prominent properties include “Cuquín” (formerly “Cleo & Cuquín”), “Lea & Pop,” “Titto Lizzardo,” “Tippi T-Rex,” “Howly Wooly,” and “PINY Institute of New York.”

Clan, RTVE’s children's channel targeting viewers aged 4 to 12, is known for its educational programming that emphasizes values such as friendship, respect, environmental protection, and healthy living.
