Viacom International Studios (VIS) announced the successful primetime premiere of 'Dear Daddies' ('Sres. Papis') in Serbia on Prva Televizija. This locally adapted “dramedy” was a success, reaching 40% of the national television audience, which is equivalent to 2.7 million people within its first week.

“After acquiring two successful seasons of 'Graduados', Prva Televizija is doubling down on VIS programming by choosing one of our best-performing formats, 'Dear Daddies', to adapt for the Eastern European market,” said Rosario Cosentino, Senior Content Manager of Viacom International Studios. “We are thrilled with the results of Dear Daddies worldwide and we are glad to continue our partnership with Prva Televizija.”

"Dear Daddies" premiered in Argentina in 2014 during Telefe’s prime time, as the most-watched show during its timeslot, maintaining an average share of 32% throughout its season.

This “dramedy” has become a worldwide phenomenon, sold in more than fifteen countries, including Chile, Mexico, Peru, Slovakia, Ukraine, and the Middle East, among others. Undoubtedly a best-seller within the VIS fiction format catalog.

This endearing yet powerful story written by Cecilia Guerty, Pablo Junovich, Marcela Guerty, and Pamela Rementeria, tells the story of four dads who form a strong bond during daily encounters at their children’s kindergarten, tackling friendship and fatherhood in modern times.
