Talpa Studios announces the launch of its globally hit quiz format "The Floor" in Greece. The popular show will premiere on SKAI, one of Greece’s leading broadcasters, and will be produced by Acunmedya.

Recording is set to take place in Talpa Studios’ advanced production hub in the Netherlands, promising the same high-quality production that has captivated audiences worldwide. This achievement further strengthens The Floor’s position as one of the fastest-growing and most exciting formats in the global television landscape, with multiple renewals already secured in major markets.

Sebastian van Barneveld, Director Global Distribution at Talpa Studios, said: “'The Floor' continues its impressive growth, celebrated for its clean, visual gameplay and proven success in both weekly and daily form. Produced at the cutting-edge Talpa Studios hub, we’re proud to set new standards for scalable, engaging content in partnership with the highly skilled teams at Acunmedya and SKAI.”

Alkistis Maragoudaki, Chief Content Officer at Skai TV, added: "We are delighted to bring 'The Floor' to Greek audiences and partner with Talpa Studios and Acunmedya on this exciting journey. This format is a perfect fit for SKAI, combining innovative gameplay with compelling storytelling that we are certain our viewers will embrace wholeheartedly."

This year, "The Floor" has reached a new milestone: in just one and a half years, the format has been sold to 20 countries. After an impressive first year, during which "The Floor" set global records, five new territories have now joined the growing list of successful adaptations, solidifying its position as one of the fastest-growing formats worldwide. Finland (MTV3), Denmark (TV2), Uruguay (Teledoce/Canal 12), Chile (TVN) and Australia (details to be announced soon) are the latest additions, bringing the total number of markets to 20.
