“The Floor”
Following the phenomenal U.S. launch of "The Floor’s third season" – airing right after the Super Bowl – more great news is coming from France. Season 2 of Talpa Studios’ game show has kept audiences captivated, culminating in a record-breaking finale. The first episode on France 2 set the tone for success, ranking second in its time slot across all channels and outperforming the channel's average by 7.2% in absolute viewers.
The excitement kept building throughout the season with episode 4 setting a record with 3,182,000 viewers and an 18.1% market share. But the grand finale took it even further, drawing an impressive 3,233,000 viewers and an 18.2% market share - marking the highest-rated episode in "The Floor" France’s history. With such results, it’s no surprise that The Floor is renewed for a third season on France 2. The network has officially announced a new season, ensuring that French audiences can once again experience the excitement of this high-stakes, strategic quiz.
Cyril Féraud, host of The Floor France, shares his excitement: “I'm thrilled by the incredible ratings for our second season. After a great launch last year, our audience has only grown. Whole families play along every week, completely engaged in the duels. This success shows the power of this format, which has truly become a phenomenon in France," expressed.
Arthur Essebag, founder of Satisfaction Group, which produces the show for France 2, celebrated the consolidation of the product: “We're very proud to be producing one of France 2's biggest primetime hits this year. 'The Floor' has solidified its place as a must-see game show on France TV," added.
