The Creators Bridge announced a licensing agreement for the format “Rockstar Hunters” with Globo. Created and produced by Red Records and Top Link Music, the original format follows Orlando Custódio and Paulo Baron in their search for new rock stars. The duo are not only the characters but also the creators and executive producers.

The eleven-episode show features the journey of Orlando Custódio (the hunter), a passionate rock 'n' roll fan who loves discovering hidden gems, and Paulo Baron (the manager), one of the foremost authorities in international show business. Each episode uncovers a new band, introducing the audience to its members, dreams, struggles, and songs. Throughout the episode, the hunter must convince the manager that his latest discovery has the potential to become a mainstream star. For the final evaluation, the manager presents the bands' songs to global rock icons, who engage in memorable discussions and assessments of the discoveries.

In addition to prominent figures from Brazilian music, the first season features Rudolf Schenker (Scorpions), Jeff Pilson (Foreigner), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Roy Z, Kiko Loureiro, Tarja Turunen, among others.

“In the music world, millions of artists are seeking a chance to shine, an opportunity to showcase their work to enthusiastic audiences. Rock is a genre of resilience, alive and ever evolving. The premise of decoding today's rockstar is to understand what still motivates them through the music," explained Orlando Custódio, the creator of the format.

The series traveled over 10,000 kilometers across Brazil, exploring the cultural diversity and emerging styles of the independent pop rock scene. The hosts visit cities such as Curitiba, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Goiânia, Brasília, Natal, Praia do Rosa, and Caxias do Sul.

“The format has many unique and innovative features. However, beyond the music and the art, what stands out most is its human approach. The dramatic and documentary arc, delving into the lives, dreams, and struggles of its participants. In addition of Brazil, we are negotiating the format for the international market, with interested parties already in Spain and Canada,” confirmed Felipe Herz Boclin, CEO of The Creators Bridge.

The first episode of "Garimpeiros do Rock" will premiere on October 1, 2024, at 7 PM (Brasília time), on Canal Bis and Globoplay.
