"The Musical of Your Life" second season scored high ratings in Belgium

Just weeks after winning the prestigious Rose d'Or for best Studio Entertainment Format, "The Musical of Your Life" distributed by Be-Entertainment had a hugely successful launch last week of its second season on Play4 in Belgium. Already a hit in its first season, beating the average market share by more than 200%, the show scored even higher ratings right from the start of its second season. It’s already the second best-watched show on Play4 this year, and the numbers continue to grow. The average market share of the first episode was 35,9%, an impressive increase of the average market share of the channel in its target group of more than 300%! (AMS live+consolidated, Sep-Dec 2022).

It’s also hitting the high notes online, where it is already in the top 10 long form views for 2021/2022 on the channel's online platform GoPlay, just a week after the first broadcast of the first episode.

Thanks to the celebrity tribute show’s success in Belgium, the producer Dedsit is set to launch a huge live stage event on February 4th, 2023 showcasing the best performances of the past two seasons. The tickets were sold out within two days and additional shows are now being added.

"The Musical of Your Life" is also currently in production in Germany for ProSieben. In addition, Be-Entertainment has teamed up with producers in more than 10 countries to bring the rights to the UK, the US, Australia amongst other territories.

Each episode of "The Musical of Your Life" pays tribute to a beloved celebrity. This well-known individual is invited to a theater to join the host for a unique up-close and personal interview, during which five of the most memorable moments of his life are turned into moving musical scenes performed live on stage. After each scene, the celebrity reflects on those important moments.
