The iconic animated brand "The Smurfs" has celebrated its traditional Spring Summit where IMPS execs revealed the new details about the upcoming series and movie, as well as, the new marketings campaigns, publishing, consumer products and family entertainment experiences.

Nele De Wilde, CCO Audiovisual and Music at IMPS shared a sneak peek of the Season 3 of "The Smurfs". "There's a lot of excitement coming to Smurfs Village with a pet dragon, Gargamel's evil niece and nephew, who are going to annoy the Smurfs," she described. "In addition, for the very first time on TV, we're going to show where the girls live. We're going to show their village and the girls will have a new name. They'll be called the Smurfies," she anticipated

NEXT MOVE, THE MOVIE
The big Smurfs event for next year is the new "Smurfs" movie for Paramount Pictures and Paramount Animation that will be launched on theatres on February 14, 2025, for Valentine's Day. "It was announced already that Chris Miller and Ryan Harris, who have an extensive track record on great movie franchises, are going to direct and produce, and Rihanna will play Smurfette voice, but also she will be producing and composing and singing original songs", De Wilde said.

The "Smurfs" movie is full star cast such as Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, JP Karliak, Daniel Levy, Amy Sedaris, Nick Kroll, James Corden, Octavia Spencer, Hannah Waddingham, Sandra Oh, Alex Winter, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña with Kurt Russell and John Goodman. "Paramount is really going to invest heavily in promoting this movie, because there are a lot of great actors that have been recruited for this. It's very promising," she asserted.
