The French distributor ZED has added two new event documentaries to its catalog: The history documentary "God Save the Queen: Elizabeth II" and the investigation "Trump, the Art of the Deal and the FBI" for international distribution.

In "God Save The Queen: Elizabeth II" thanks to archive footage and a few dramatized scenes, together with interviews of those who know the Royal Family best (Olivia Colman, Dickie Arbiter, Robert Lacey, Tony Blair), this history documentary takes a look back at the key milestones of the Queen of the past 10 years.

Directed by history-specialized filmmaker Pierre Hurel, this 1x90’ & 1x52’ is produced by Elephant and Chrysalide Productions for France 5, and is slated for completion in November 2020.

"We’re extremely proud to bring this project on the international market", says Chloé Persyn-Preljocaj, Head of Distribution at ZED. "With the roaring success of 'The Crown', Queen Elizabeth has become a figure of rare modernity – an icon. With this film, we want to pick up where the fiction ends, to recount the end of the Queen’s reign and her final struggles".

Using privileged access to FBI officials, “Trump, The Art Of The Deal And The FBI” is set to explore the complex relationship between the United States Intelligence Community and its businessman-turned President, who plays a double game with the mafia and the bureau.

This investigation will be directed by Fabrizio Calvi (specialist in US intelligence and author of many books including 'The Mafia and the FBI') and David Carr-Brown, who spent many years investigating the FBI.

Produced by award-winning producer Pumpernickel Films (“One Child Nation”, 2019 Sundance’s Grand Jury  Prize for Documentary) and Allumage for France Télévisions, this 1x86’ & 1x52’ documentary will be delivered in July 2020.
