"Florence Nightingale: Nursing Pioneer"
ZED looks back at the story of the founder of nursing in a two-hour docudrama "Florence Nightingale: Nursing Pioneer" (90’ & 2x45’) produced by Tohubohu for ARTE France and directed by Aurine Crémieu. The film will be delivered by the end of the year, and is already available for presales.
This biopic will follow the footsteps of a pioneer and retrace the unprecedented journey of a woman who gave her life to serve others, revolutionizing the nursing profession.
Blending archive, testimonies and reenactments, it will examine her brilliant legacy: From the revolutionary views she developed about hygiene and sanitation during the Crimean war, to the training school she founded and all the changes she made in healthcare.
"This film is particularly echoing current events. It’s a compelling way to highlight everyday heroes, and pay tribute to an iconic and inspirational woman," says Chloé Persyn-Preljocaj, Head of Sales and Acquisitions at ZED.
