About Premium Content (APC) has picked up the global rights to the third season of the BBC/S4C hit drama series "Keeping Faith" and has also secured a scripted format deal with Quad Drama in France for TF1.

Produced by Vox Pictures for S4C and BBC Wales and gap-financed by Nevision, "Keeping Faith" garnered a 20-year ratings’ high when it debuted on BBC Wales and proved to be a record-breaker on BBC iPlayer. Season 1 and 2 of the drama have been hugely successful on BBC iPlayer with over 33 million requests to date, and the viewing figures of the first and second series of the Welsh-language version of the show "Un Bore Mercher" (originally developed for S4C) were amongst the highest for S4C drama since 2010.
APC has extended its co-production deal with Acorn Media Enterprises (AME) for all rights to the third season of "Keeping Faith" across the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, plus home entertainment in the UK and Eire. AMC Networks’ Acorn TV, North America’s largest streaming service for British and international television, will feature its US and Canadian premiere as an Acorn TV Original in 2021 coinciding with the BBC premiere. Acorn Media International will oversee Acorn’s distribution rights in Australia, New Zealand, UK and Eire.
FOX in Germany has extended its agreement for season 3 along with TV4 Media which has confirmed the SVOD rights to all three seasons for Denmark, Norway and Sweden and has also picked up the free TV rights for TV4 Sweden.
In season 3 of "Keeping Faith", Eve Myles is set to return as Faith Howells, alongside Bradley Freegard as Evan Howells and Mark Lewis Jones as Steve Baldini. Olivier award-winning Celia Imrie (Victoria Wood as Seen on TV, Dinnerladies, Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) will also be joining the cast.
The new season is directed by Pip Broughton and Judith Dine, written by Matthew Hall and Pip Broughton, produced by Pip Broughton and Llyr Morus. Filming will begin in 2020 with episodes expected to air on S4C in October 2020 and on BBC One Wales in February 2021. It will be available across the UK exclusively on BBC iPlayer.
Adrian Bate is the Executive Producer for Vox Pictures while Gwenlllian Gravelle is Executive Producers for S4C. Maggie Russell is the Executive Producer for BBC Wales. James Cabourne for Nevision and Catherine Mackin and Bea Tammer are Executive Producers for AME. The production received Production Funding from the Welsh Government.
