Globoplay and Disney+ team up to offer an unprecedented bundle deal in Brazil. The new alliance will allow subscribers to access, not only the very best library catalog, which includes original Globo content, telenovelas, feature-length films, series, and documentaries, besides works produced by Brazilian independent film production companies and international studios but also The Walt Disney Company’s huge streaming library, offering fans of all ages exclusive access to the unparalleled content from the company’s iconic entertainment brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, as well as other exclusive original programming.
To bring together the two entertainment giants on a single platform has been a dream come true. Starting this month, customers will have the option of a combined subscription offer for Globoplay and Disney+, in a seamless and easy process. As of Nov.3, subscribers interested in Disney’s upcoming streaming service have been able to pre-order on www.globoplay.com/disneyplus to make sure they do not miss out, until the launch date on Nov.17.
The new joint subscription deal features two package options: Disney+ & Globoplay basic subscription or Disney+ & Globoplay + Live Channels, with monthly or annual plans available. And what makes the new deal even more attractive is that the pre-launch offer is available at a discount ranging from 10% to 25% compared to the monthly subscription to the services purchased separately. Current Globoplay subscribers will also be able to switch over to the new combined subscription.

To promote the new partnership in Brazil, Globo has created a campaign that combines the Disney dream with the most distinct sounds and rhythms of Brazilian music. A cover version of "When You Wish Upon a Star" will play a key role in the project’s promotional strategy and will be used in all advertising and publicity materials. The film created to launch the new ad campaign revolves around a star, a symbol strongly associated with brands from the Disney franchise. Referring to the idea of “wishing upon a star”, the ad alludes to the dreams and desires of people of different ages, creeds, and ethnicities, who long for more adventures, fantasy, love, and laughter. “With Globoplay, viewers can be catapulted out of this world into one filled with more adventure, fantasy, love, and thrills. It is the emotions evoked by Globo’s world of fantasy alongside Disney+, one of the biggest creators of emotionally-charged stories and fantasy in the world,” said Sergio Valente, Director of Brands and Communications at Globo.
To sign up for the new Globoplay & Disney+ bundle, customers must click on the link www.globoplay.com.br/disneyplus and go through the preorder process. On Nov.17, pre-registered applicants will receive an email with the instructions to complete and activate their subscription. Customers will find two subscription tiers to choose from, which can be billed each month with a month-to-month plan, or every 12 months with an annual plan.

Annual plan: R$ 454.80 or paid in up to 12 installments of R$ 37.90
Globoplay + Live Channels & Disney+

Globoplay subscribers that purchase the service on the website will also be able to upgrade their subscription to the new Disney+ bundle. Customers that have purchased their subscription through app stores or other companies are not eligible to purchase the new deal.
