LOVE NATURE DEBUTS ON PRENDETV AVOD PLATFORM

The wildlife and nature brand with linear and streaming platforms will reach 300 million households around the world as one of the platform’s premium FAST channels.

Love Nature, a wildlife and nature brand with linear and streaming platforms reaching 300 million households worldwide, has debut on PrendeTV in the U.S. as one of the platform’s premium FAST channels. Love Nature is the first wildlife and nature channel to join PrendeTV, the only streaming service created exclusively for the U.S. Hispanic audience featuring free, premium 100% Spanish-language programming. “Love Nature’s launch on PrendeTV marks an extraordinary opportunity for us to bring high-quality natural history programming to an underserved Spanish-speaking audience in the U.S., hungry for content that will bring them closer to nature, free of charge,” said Carlyn Staudt, Global General Manager, Love Nature. 

PrendeTV is owned and operated by Univision, the largest Spanish-language broadcaster in the U.S. market. Platform viewers will have access to all of the brand's programming, all localized in Spanish, including the "Nomads of the Serengeti," "Wildlife Icons," and "Wild Birds of Australia."“We are committed to introducing our catalog of celebrated original series and documentaries to new fans around the world," Staudt said."Our role as a launch partner with PrendeTV is a significant milestone as we expand our brand into the U.S. market on new platforms.” 

 The deal represents Love Nature’s ongoing expansion into the U.S. via free, ad-supported television platforms, which also includes launches on XUMO, The Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, and Tubi TV over the last year. The streaming service will also be accessible on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and iPhone, as well as Google's Android phones and TV. 

The brand has become available in over 135 countries through key content partnerships with Sky Nature in the UK, Starhub in Singapore, Rogers in Canada, KPN, VodafoneZiggo in the Netherlands and more. The joint venture between Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Networks is also available as a streaming channel on growing platforms like The Roku Channel, Xumo, Samsung TV Plus, and Pluto TV in the U.S.; and Youku in China.
