MIPTV 2024: Ukraine Content Club to present new collaboration opportunities in Cannes

The 61st Spring International Television Market MIPTV will host a Ukrainian stand, organized by Ukraine Content Club (UCC). Ukraine’s representation will be centered on showcasing diverse collaboration opportunities with the local AV industry. During 8-10 April 2024 at Palais des Festivals, the stand will be home to key Ukrainian media companies and creative powerhouses, including FILM.UA Group, Starlight Media, 1+1 media, and Suspilne Ukraine.

Ukrainian prodcos and broadcasters are bringing their latest offerings – both content and services, anticipating the chance to reconnect with colleagues from around the world, forge new contacts, explore collaboration opportunities, and sign mutually beneficial deals. "We are proud to declare that amidst the ongoing challenges in our country and internationally, we are operating at full throttle, scaling new heights, breaking box office records, and delivering exceptional projects in international co-productions. Against all odds, we are not just surviving but moving forward, bringing a range of ambitious and exciting projects to the market," commented from FILM UA. The company will be showing the new series "New Life", a medical drama that continues the legacy of its popular "Dr. Baby Dust" series, and "Dream Catcher", a melodrama featuring a brilliant psychologist who deciphers clients' problems through their dreams.

The Public Broadcaster Suspilne Ukraine to offer clients a selection of documentary TV projects of its own production, and is looking for find like-minded people to create and distribute diverse content that people worldwide need.

Despite the challenging times, 1+1 Media continues to create various content at the request of the audience to entertain, inspire, and give hope. Its catalog includes both fiction and entertainment shows. Among the new releases, 1+1 Media offers the comedy series "Before Thirty Bucket List", a drama about the three sisters "Zozuli: Sisters' Story", "A Pledge to God" - the story of the struggle for a little boy's life, a crime detective TV series "The Knight's Move", as well as a large-scale entertainment show "The Country of Amazing People", in which participants compete for a cash prize to make their dreams come true.The production company will also present its co-production series developments, such as "Mr & Mrs Malyshko", a detective comedy, and "Paragraph 24", a story about forced life abroad and love.

Starlight Media team is going to MIPTV to develop the global partnership and distribute content, both ready-made and original formats, with great potential for adaptation in diverse territories and broad sponsorship opportunities. After the unique European success of the "In Her Car" series, Starlight Media's team is inspired to build new collaborations in creating high-quality content that can cross borders and bring additional value to all participating in its creation. Starlight Media's catalog presents series, documentaries, and formats of its own production as well as created by independent producers and production companies.
