RX France announced that its last edition of MIPTV gathered more than 5.000 delegates from over 80 countries, more than 150 exhibitors, more than 1.200 buyers, and another 300 online participants. The market took place on April 4-6 in the Palais des Festivals, Cannes, France.
“This is a thank you, not just from us the organizers, but on behalf of all attendees, companies whose slates you’ve featured, executives whose keynote appearances you’ve written up and companies whose deals have been announced. It all makes the market what the market is. It has been fantastic to finally be able to deliver on the promise of a transformed MIPTV over these last three days,” the organizers said.
The next MIP market will be MIP China, which will again be held online from June 28 to July 1. “This is where the digital experience we have been developing takes on its importance, as China continues to be seriously impacted by Covid. We are able to give access to buyers online, from China and beyond,” the organizers explained.
Moreover, RX France confirmed that Mipcom will be back on October 17-20, 2022, in the Palais, preceded by MIPJunior, that will be held at JW Marriott on October 15-16, 2022. “Mipcom truly is the ‘mother of all entertainment content markets, and we can already confirm that the vast majority of our major exhibitors at what was our last normal Mipcom in 2019 have already confirmed that they will not only be back, but in full force for 2022,” RX concluded.
