Liliam Hernandez, CEO of Universal Cinergia Dubbing, announced the latest highlights of the Turkish Drama Gala event, including program details and sponsorships confirmed. Scheduled for January 22 at The Temple House in Miami Beach, the Turkish Drama Gala has been created to celebrate the success of Turkish content on screens around the world. The event is part of the official calendar of Content Americas 2024, which will take place on January 23-25.

To commemorate the tenth anniversary of the inaugural Turkish telenovela broadcast in Latin America, in addition to recognizing all the Turkish content companies, the achievements of two-forward thinking and visionary executives, Patricio Hernandez and Juan Ignacio Vicente, who were the pioneers in introducing the first Turkish telenovela “1001 Nights” to Latin America, will be celebrated.

Universal Cinergia also announced the addition of Turkish Airlines as a key sponsor for the event. As the designated official airline of Turkey and one of the world’s leading carriers, Turkish Airlines boasts an impressive track record of success and consistently introduces innovative flight experiences to its global passengers.

The Gala will gather executives from Turkey, Latin America, the United States and the US Hispanic, including distributors, acquisitions executives, content producers, writers, actors from the successful productions, press, and industry colleagues. It will have the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Miami, and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce.

“In the coming months, announcements will be made about the celebrities that will attend the event. As an organization that appreciates cultural diversity and fosters creativity, we believe that the Turkish audiovisual production merits acknowledgment for its distinctive and vibrant contributions to the entertainment industry,”  Liliam Hernandez concluded.
