Filmsharks to distribute Spanish black-comedy "La Fortaleza" worldwide

Filmsharks has taken Worldwide Rights of Whodunnit/Black-Comedy of the year, "La Fortaleza" (92'), produced by Daniel Paris and starring by Fernando Cayo ("Money Heist"); José Manuel Poga ("Money Heist") ; Vito Sanz ("My Love Lost"), Carla Nieto ("If I Were You"), Fernando Tejero ("Soccer Days"), and Goya Toledo ("Marsella").

The film will debut on Spanish cinemas on June 23 by Syldavia Cinema, and a deal with top OTT is under advanced discussions. "This film has the best of the 2 worlds (Whodunnit/Black-Comedy) creating a magical cinematic gem, it’s 'Death at a Funeral' meets 'Knives Out," commented Guido Rud, CEO at Filmsharks.

The producer Daniel Paris added: "We are glad to sign an international sales deal with Filmsharks for ‘La Fortaleza’ film. We are sure it will reach global audiences."

In the movie, the heirs of a mansion will have to face a great game that will expose something more brutal than their ambition, the family's best kept secret.
