Globo recently highlighted "Land of Desire's" success in Paraguay. The title premiered on 8 January.

On premier day, "Land of Desire" reached more than 80 thousand people and peaked at 50% share. Currently airing in prime time in Brazil, the telenovela is written by Walcyr Carrasco, who won an Emmy for "Hidden Truths." The production follows the success of ‘Pantanal’, a Globo telenovela that was broadcast on Telefuturo last year and also reached a 50% share in its first chapter.

The title tells the story of Aline, a young woman who sees her family wiped out by a crime. Driven by the desire for reparation, her story intersects with the family of Antonio La Selva divided by ambition and many secrets. The telenovela is also one of the highlights of Globo’s portfolio for Content Americas this month.
