HITN, a non-profit organization, promoting education and entertainment among Spanish-speaking families in the United States and Latin America, selected Castalia Communications, an international media development company, to distribute Edye content for preschoolers throughout Latin America

Edye is a SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand) service, on its way to becoming a top global brand and the safest preschool content platform in the market, offering compelling content for children ages 2-6, with carefully selected programs developed by a team of professionals including psychologists, pediatricians, and educators.

Castalia has over 20 years of experience in the media industry, during which it has specialized in the creation and distribution of content, relationship with affiliates, advertising sales, and market research, among other areas, which has allowed them to obtain the versatility and knowledge to make a business successful.

"In HITN, we are very excited to work with such an important distributor as Castalia to bring Edye's education content to the Latin American families. Our mission is to provide the Spanish-speaking community with the highest quality content", said Guillermo Sierra, Television and Digital Services Director at HITN. "We want parents and their kids to enjoy Edye as a space to spend time together and have fun as a family."

"We are pleased to work with partners like Edye as it allows us to be faithful to Castalia's mission of bringing content and platforms that give space and voice to different audiences. In Edye's case, they will provide a safe, educational, and fun window for parents and children in Latin America", explained Miguel Torres-Bohl, VP Sales & Marketing for Latin America at Castalia Communications. "We are confident that they will welcome it with great interest, especially in the context of this pandemic that is limiting outdoor activities."

Likewise, HITN, through its platform edye.com, offers guides designed for parents to encourage their participation in their children's learning where they will find series and activities grouped into six areas: mathematical logic and reasoning, personal and social development, language and communication, physical development and health promotion, knowledge and learning of the society, and development and expression of creativity.

The Edye service is part of Castalia Communications' portfolio as of November 2020.
