Madd Entertainment's "Twisted Affairs" garners successful ratings on Nova TV

MADD Entertainment has recorded successful ratings for "Twisted Affairs" on Nova TV. “'Twisted Affairs' is a wonderful series that really struck a chord with our viewers,” says George Makris, Program Director of Nova Operations for Adriatic Region. “It features a strong female protagonist in a story of love, loss and renewal. Those are all winning elements in a Turkish drama.”

Nova TV launched "Twisted Affairs" on primetime in January, where it aired under the local title "Izdaja." The series has reached a remarkable 26.5% share in 18-54 total, just very close to 28% achieved by international mega-hit "A Woman Scorned." Croatia’s Nova TV is a trendsetter in the region and one of MADD Entertainment’s leading broadcast partners. “It is very gratifying to see 'Twisted Affairs' do so well in Croatia,” said MADD’s Managing Director Ateş İnce. “Nova TV has a well-earned reputation for quality programming, so when a title does well on Nova, we know it can succeed anywhere!”

In "Twisted Affairs," Neslihan is wealthy and beautiful, and married to a hard-working executive who has worked his way up to a position of trust in her family’s holding company. Neslihan is devoted to her husband Murat and their kids. But Neslihan’s perfect life is a castle built on sand. Her father ran off when she was young, her sister committed suicide, and her workaholic mother is emotionally checked-out.

A lesser person might have become bitter and inward, but Neslihan has always been warm and loving. She’s the emotional rock for her family and friends, someone who just can’t help but help others in distress. That is, until she finds out Murat has been cheating on her for years with Damla, whom she met very recently and considered as a sister. Suddenly, her world turns upside down, and everything Neslihan ever believed comes into question. The experience turns her into a completely different person, as she fights to protect her children and herself.
