RAINBOW CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE GIFFONI FILM FESTIVAL

The festival, which was remodeled for this year, featured milestones of the group since it started in 1995. The installation was inaugurated on 18th August.

It’s been 25 years since the Rainbow was founded. The global content giant, founded by Ignio Straffi,  will celebrate its quarter of success at the 50th Giffoni Film Festival. "There is something magical uniting Giffoni’s story with Rainbow’s one", declares Iginio Straffi, Founder of the Rainbow Group, "The same tenacious and passionate ambition to try to make a dream come true, to transform a youthful aspiration into a great reality. The festival has been remodeled for this year, with a four-part special edition scheduled from now until December 2020. A special rainbow installation was inaugurated during the event’s opening night on 18th August, which featured milestones of the group since it started in 1995 when the president and CEO Iginio Straffi pursued his dream. “I wanted my stories, created by looking at the horizon beyond the Apennines, to be told and heard all over the world. Two impossible dreams, two dreams that, once fulfilled, met each other," Straffi said.

The memory lane begins with the classic Winx Club world up to 44 Cats, a revelation Series of 2018 broadcast in over 20 languages, and the latest news born from the inspiration of Iginio Straffi.  Throughout the entire duration of the show, visitors can visit the world of Rainbow accomplishments in the form of pictures and cartoon drawings that have attracted children’s attention around the world.
 
During yesterday’s opening night at the Yaris Arena, a video celebrating the content company was also presented. Claudio Gubitosi, Founder, and Director of Giffoni Opportunity, honored the Company with the Giffoni 50 Award. Among the protagonists of the world entertainment market, Rainbow is a constantly growing reality thanks to the imagination and vision of Iginio Straffi, an entrepreneur who was able to turn his dreams into reality, offering them to millions of people around the world.
