Rainbow’s “Pinocchio and Friends” made its debut in Venice

The title was presented by its creator, "Pinocchio." The introduction came ahead of “Pinocchio and Friends"'s November debut on 29th November.

The creator of Rainbow's new film, "Pinocchio," Iginio Straffii, presented the new film on the red carpet of the 78th Venice International Film Festival captivating the audience. “Our Pinocchio speaks to children in a lighthearted way, encouraging them to cultivate their dreams with stories full of colours, adventure, twists and empathy,"  Straffii said. "We played with the original fairy tale and created plots in which children can recognize themselves, but still tightly connected to Pinocchio’s typical universe.” 

The appearance comes ahead of the animated show “Pinocchio and Friends," set to air on Rai Yoyo from 29th November with 26 episodes. "Pinocchio is the most beloved Italian character ever created in fairy tale literature, and Rainbow Group’s roots are Italian," Straffii said.

During the film festival, Straffi also sat alongside ITTV founders Valentina Martelli and Cristina Scognamillo as part of the Venetian days of the ITTV FESTIVAL held every year in Los Angeles.
