The 38th edition of Mipcom 2022's Unifrance is scheduled to take place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from October 17 through 20, 2022. More than 10,000 members of the industry from across 100 countries are projected to attend. "It anticipates much higher attendance numbers than the 2021 edition, which marked the return of physical markets," a recent release revealed.

Alongside the 300 expected exhibitors, Unifrance will be present at a stand located in the Riviera (R7.E2), where the organization will host 45 member companies. On Tuesday, 18 October, at 6:00 pm, the event will host a cocktail reception to celebrate French audiovisual creation and to increase opportunities for professional encounters and exchange.

A screening room will grant global buyers from around the world to discover nearly 200 programs online on the new Unifrance viewing platform, which was inaugurated during the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Biarritz. Once again, each company will be able to select a flagship program that will be given special visibility on the site's home page. This dedicated screening room will be accessible before the market and open to buyers from October 10.

During MIPCOM, Unifrance will also organize a breakfast dedicated to the challenges facing the television industry in Europe, in partnership with German Films and Wallonie Bruxelles Image, and with the participation of the CNC, Europe Créative - MEDIA, MIPCOM Cannes, and RX. The meeting will be introduced with a keynote by Lucía Recalde, Deputy Director and Head of the Audiovisual Industry and Media Support Programs Unit of DG CONNECT - Directorate-General for Communication Networks, Content and Technologies, at the European Commission.
