Atlantyca Entertainment has secured various broadcasting sales for animated titles, spy action series "Berry Bees" and animated comedy "Bat Pat." Other licensing deals were made with Norway NRK, set to renew the second season of Atlantyca’s “Geronimo Stilton” and acquire season 3. Another acquisition was made on behalf of MTVA in Hungary, which renewed the first two seasons of the series and picked up the third season.
Greece’s Smile TV, has licensed the first season "Bat Pat." In addition, the company’s "Berry Bees" premiered this fall in Central and Eastern Europe on Minika in Turkey and on the Minimax Channel in Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia; and is set to premiere on VRT in Belgium in December.
“Berry Bees” has been on air on Rai Gulp since last December and is currently available on RAI digital platform Rai Play. The animated series has been on air on Australia’s NINE Network 9GO since last fall and launched successfully in 2020 on STAN, Australia’s leading online streaming service. The producer recently wrapped up for the second season of its popular “Bat Pat.” The 104 12-minute was co-produced with Mondo TV Producciones Canarias in collaboration with Rai Ragazzi in Italy and RTVE in Spain as a broadcasting partner.
One of the newest announcemens for the company took place in September 2020 with the launch of the publishing house, Marietti Junior. Established by Pietro Marietti, Marietti Junior helps target and develop emerging children’s innovative publishing talent, authors, and illustrators. Through Atlantyca’s sales and production divisions, the up-and coming artists and their budding publishing properties will be expanded into entertainment brands.
